The sport of surfing is growing fast in Asia. Industry experts will be speaking about the development of national governing bodies, in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. In 2020, there will be 50 million surfers in the planet. The Asian region is fuelling the growth of surfing in the world and the inaugural 2013 Asian Surfing Development Symposium (ASDS) is held, at the right time. The primary goal of the five-day program is to provide specific and much needed educational seminars and judging training to the budding surf communities of Asia, as they seek to begin and grow the sport of surfing in their local areas.
