The coastal city of Bristol will have the first freshwater wave lagoon built over a 40 acre site, at Easter Compton. The team behind “The Wave: Bristol” has revealed it has agreed terms over the exact location of the future artificial wave pool, powered by the Wavegarden technology. The British artificial wave pool will pump waves of up to 1.6 meters high, at a rate of approximately 120 waves per hour. Expect rides of 20 seconds. This might be the first Wavegarden installation open to the public.
