Claudy Robin has an hereditary illness. He is practically blind, but that doesn’t stop him from hitting the surf. When you can’t see the board, keeping balance is definitely a challenge. Fortunately, Claudy is not worried about that. The 44-year old paddles and takes-off like any other wave rider. “I get this feeling of freedom from practicing a sport that’s not really meant for handicapped people. I can do this just like any able bodied person can”, says Claudy Robin.
