John John Florence has taken out the 2016 Hawaiian Pro, at Haleiwa. The 2016 world surfing champion won the first event of the Triple Crown of Surfing after defeating Frederico Morais, Marc Lacomare, and Adrian Buchan in the final held in 15-foot waves. Florence, who recently admitted that he is looking forward to winning the most prestigious series in pro surfing, ended up tied with Frederico Morais with 15.66 points. However, because he had the highest individual wave score, John John raised the trophy.
