Kolohe Andino has claimed the 2015 Shoe City Pro, the first ever surfing competition of the World Surf League era. The American surfer defeated Ian Gouveia, in two-to-four foot surf at Huntington Beach. Andino used his priority experience, sharp turns and sense of momentum to collect 15.56 and steal the first title of the season. “I’m stoked to win. This event was really good for me, it just gave me that confident feeling on my board and put me back in a competitive mindset after a little break,” reveals Kolohe.
