Tokyo 2020 unveiled the official sport pictograms for the Olympic Games. They were designed by Masaaki Hiromura. The 1964Tokyo Olympic Games were not only the first Games to be held in Asia, but they marked the beginning of a design movement: sport pictograms. The 20 sport pictograms created for the event changed wayfinding at the Olympic movement forever.
