It’s one of the best-edited highlight reels of the 2018/2019 winter season. “Brusco” puts Nicolau Von Rupp alongside the best performers in big wave surfing. Von Rupp was born on August 2, 1990, in Portugal. He is the son of a German father and Portuguese mother and speaks fluently five languages. Rupp has always lived in Praia Grande, a famous beach break located in Sintra. He started surfing at the age of nine and soon after Nic was already wearing a competitive jersey.
