A surfer aged 28 died in Reunion Island after a shark attack. The incident took place off the coast of surfing off Saint-Leu, a fishing town located on the west coast of the French department. Andrea Moller has set a new Guinness World Record for the biggest paddle-in wave ever surfed. The announcement was made by World Surf League (WSL) at the 2019 Big Wave Awards.
