Filipe Toledo and Silvana Lima have taken out the Hurley Pro and Swatch Pro at Trestles, in Southern California. The Brazilian duo defeated Jordy Smith and Keely Andrew in the iconic cobblestone surf break of Lower Trestles. Despite the small three-to-four-foot waves on offer, Toledo and Lima are a force to be reckoned with in pro surfing no matter what the conditions are like Filipe Toledo claimed the fifth Championship Tour of his still short career – he is the first male athlete to win two events this season and has definitely entered the world title discussion.
