The world’s most famous alt-freesurfer returns to the big screen with an indie production and a political message. Dane Reynolds was 20 when his “First Chapter” came out. In 11 years, his surfing hasn’t changed much but, today, the talented regular-footer from Ventura sees the world from a different perspective. Reynolds has always wanted to mix art with surfing. Because, for him, surfing is an art form, and you shouldn’t keep them in separate boxes. As a result, the movement led by What Youth and Marine Layer Production strived and achieved global recognition.
