Duke’s warm Hawaiian smile is quickly perceived. Duke Paoa Kahinu Mokoe Hulikohola Kahanamoku – yes, that’s his full name – was born on the 24th August 1890, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He lived 77 years and will always be remembered as the ultimate “Ambassador of Aloha.”
