Ziggy, Ricochet, Hanzon and Kalani are the winners of the 2014 Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition, held at Imperial Beach, California. Fifty surf dogs gathered for one of the most important canine wave riding contests in the USA. The 9th edition of the Surf Dog Competition crowned champions in four categories: small, medium, and large dogs, as well as an innovative tandem surf showdown. Dogs are surfing better and better. It’s clear that many can already carve and turn like true professionals. One day, they’ll be hitting the line-up by themselves, snaking their best friends for the perfect wave.
