Matt Banting and Keely Andrew have secured the wildcards for the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast 2014. Banting, who recently won the Burton Toyota Pro 2014, managed to get through a stacked field of talented local and international competitors. “Last year a few things didn’t go my way and luck was on the other guy’s side. Getting a win in Newcastle and now here feels great. I’m surfing smart heats and feeling fit and looking forward to the main event,” says Matt Banting.
