An Austrian company developed a portable water sports jet engine. The ScubaJet can be used to propel stand up paddleboards (SUP), dinghies, canoes, and even scuba divers. They call it the “world’s lightest electric engine with different adapter systems” for multiple water sports. In no more than 10 seconds, ScubaJet will boost your craft using a small, rechargeable 3.1 kW electric motor. “The power unit is completely emission-free and barely audible, so you can use it on protected waters without ruining the peace and quiet. The handling is pretty easy to explain, and no technical skills are needed,” explains Patrizia Giovanniello, founder of ScubaJet.
