John John Florence, Nat Young, Taj Burrow and Adriano de Souza are the semifinalists of the 2015 Drug Aware Margaret River Pro. The surprise of the whole event, Jay Davies, resisted until the quarterfinals, and only an in-form John John managed to put the wildcard out of competition, with a total heat score of 17.87 points. “I was so nervous because Jay is such a good surfer. I’ve had the pleasure of surfing against him a few times in the past and especially in these kinds of waves he’s such a strong surfer,” underlined Florence.
