An entrepreneur has developed a prototype of a surf pool that only uses human muscles to pump waves. “Fred’s Wave” is a one-man show. The dream of building an inexpensive, eco-friendly artificial wave has been growing somewhere in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia. The idea started with a very small-scaled model and later evolved into a small wave pool for beginners. The man behind this unusual artificial wave has been uploading videos of his technology since 2008.
