A group of Spanish surf entrepreneurs developed an innovative magnetic surfboard car rack. The team behind Giraffe wanted to create an easy-to-set-up solution that allowed them to drive their cars at the maximum speed limit (120 km/h or 75 mph), and transport their surfboards on top of their vehicles with maximum safety. Installing a surfboard car rack can take a while, and when you’re anxious to hit the water, you can make a lot of mistakes. If you don’t do it, in the worst case scenario, your boards will fly off the car and hit people and other vehicles.
