BIO:
Pete, Ando and Benn Lofthouse along with John Kelly have been writing and recording music together since 2006 as melodic metal band Pale As Ashes. In February of 2011 the four decided to expand their repertoire with a rocky, more commercial approach to it all. Thus, This Other Eden was born. Auditions were held and the role of bass player was filled perfectly by ex-Rise Apollo star Luke York. A dynamic fusion of rock, punk and pop, an energetic feel with big soaring vocals, This Other Eden’s sound is fresh and engaging to all walks of life.

About The Clip:
The film clip for This Other Eden’s track “Inevitably” was filmed, directed and produced by Baz Harvey and his awesome crew. It was filmed at ECU Mt Lawley on one of their many film stages and featured the bands original line-up of John Kelly, Pete Lofthouse, Ando Lofthouse, Benn Lofthouse and John Barrett. Bassist John Barrett has since left and been replaced by ex-Rise Apollo member Luke York.
The narrative side of the clip was 100% Baz Harvey’s doing, and was filmed in the forest near Yanchep. The story for the narrative was taken from the lyrics to the track itself. The young girl eerily gamboling around the forest following clues (featuring poignant sections of lyrics from the track’s chorus) and eventually coming across a sinister looking apple with a grenade pin in the top. The entire section ends with the girl pulling the pin from the apple and rolling it towards the band, who then pick it up only to realise what it is, all too late.
